About Olivier
A workforce product & data specialist, exploring AI’s impact on people strategy.
For fifteen years I've built products and services that connect people with work and learning.
My journey—from recruitment to AI product management, via social start-ups—has been winding, but always about fair solutions to workforce challenges.
As AI reshapes how work is done and demographics shift, I believe many enterprises will need deeper organisational intelligence to thrive.
Things I work on.
Workforce Systems
HR and Ops tools are evolving from point-solution patchworks to sophisticated digital twins, with huge potential to transform organizational intelligence.
This journey can stall without careful consideration of user needs, system architectures, and organizational readiness. I know how to balance ambition with adoptability — creating value incrementally while building toward bigger change.
Skills Data
Knowing what your people can do—when, where, and how—is crucial for intelligent resourcing and planning, but it's also legally sensitive.
I've learned that success comes from the hard years of building data quality, structuring taxonomies, gaining user trust, and clarifying use-cases. Making data work harder while respecting both technical and human constraints.

People Strategy
To compete in the age of AI, enterprise technology and workforce strategies must evolve together. But as I've seen firsthand, even well-designed strategies can fail without proper attention to organizational dynamics.
My experience bridges the gap between HR and Technology leadership, not just identifying impacts, but creating practical roadmaps that organizations can actually deliver.

Things I’ve done.
Typically I find myself bridging the gap between clients, users, and cutting-edge technologists with PhDs (who I have learned to love):
Industry advisor to the Institute for Future of Work, a leading think tank on policy, skills and AI's impact on jobs
AI product leadership at WPP/Satalia, tackling complex resource optimization challenges in a global group
Skills and talent matching product management at Adecco Group, a Fortune 500 HR Services group
Founded an early HR tech startup focused on fair hiring through candidate support and education
Early experience in enterprise upskilling services, gig-work marketplaces and executive recruitment
Personal Things.
My hobbies include finding lost toys for my daughter and losing my 2000’s skinny jeans. Before becoming a dad, I loved to race boats and cycle in circles for days wearing lycra for fun.
Some questionable life decisions include buying a damp London houseboat, moving to Cornwall (and back) twice, and opening an e-bike shop during the Covid pandemic.
I am very fortunate to be married to Kassia, a writer of long and clever books. We live in London.
